This Privacy Policy explains what AI Pathway Generator("we") collects and how we use it. We practice data minimization — we collect only what we need to run the Service.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only:
- Your name — to personalize the Service.
- Your email address — for login, account recovery, and optional emails you request.
- A securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
- Your learning preferences and generated curriculum, and (for Pro) your progress.
We do not request or store any other personal information.
2. How We Use It
To create your account, generate and store your curriculum, track your progress (Pro), send emails you request, and operate, secure, and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Service Providers
We use trusted third parties to run the Service — hosting and database (Render), AI generation (Anthropic), resource indexing (Firecrawl), email delivery, and, for Pro, payment processing (Stripe). Payment card details are handled entirely by the payment processor; we never receive or store card numbers.
4. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. We restrict access and follow reasonable safeguards, though no system is perfectly secure.
5. Data Retention & Your Choices
We keep your data while your account is active. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may delete your account. Contact us to make a request.
6. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
